More About Us...

My love of photography goes back to my days as a boy, viewing my grandfather’s images from vacations and travel with my grandmother. While sitting around the family gatherings and viewing slide shows of their vacations I came to appreciate an eye for the beauty of our natural surroundings that to this day inspires me.

My First Camera...

My first real experience with photography was with a hand-me-down Argus C3 I received from my parents. Many exciting images were created in my youth. I developed and printed black and white image in my basement darkroom and I learned first hand what made a photograph. The immediate gratification of being able to view my images taken soon after the capture excited me. I continued learning from my photographic experiences in my darkroom for many years.

Then there were Two...

After meeting Wanda, my wife, we discovered the enjoyment of photography together. Wanda had a similar love of photography that had yet to be unveiled. Together we began our discovery of nature and wildlife photography in 1997. Our mutual love of the outdoors and nature has allowed us to develop our photography together and strengthen our relationship through it. Today we are equal in our ability and desire to photograph the natural surroundings we have come to enjoy.

We have been fortunate to have visited many unique and wonderful places and have tried to capture the beauty of these areas in our images.
